The Browning Recon Force FULL HD is one of the three visible infrared flash models of Browning (along with the Range Ops HD and the Strike Force HD). The main difference between the Recon Force FULL HD and the Strike Force HD is iits size and battery capacity, but also its video resolution. The Recon Force FULL HD is a bit larger and can record videos in 1080P FULL HD resolution, while the Strike Force HD can record videos in 720p HD resolution. The main difference with the Range Ops HD is the video resolution. So if you are looking for the best Browning model with a visible infrared flash, this is your best optione. If you are, however, looking for a camera with invisible flash, go for the Spec Ops FULL HD. If you are looking for a device with even better specs, go for the 2015 Bushnell models or for any of the Reconyx cameras.
The Browning Recon Force FULL HD is the equivalent to the Browning Spec Ops FULL HD, but then with a visible infrared flash. This trail camera has a fast response and recovery time and can record both photos and videos. The videos are shot in 1080p FULL HD resolution. The camera runs up to 6 months on 8 AA batteries (we recommend Duracell Industrial Alkaline or Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries). The Browning Recon Force FULL HD works with SDHC memory cards (we recommend to select Class 10 or higher) that are able to write the 1080p HD videos to the card quickly. Browning has 4 other models in their range, all of which are available at our shop. The main differences between the models are in the type of flash (invisible or visible infrared), the dimensions (some models are smaller and run on 6 batteries while others are somewhat larger and run on 8 batteries), and the video resolution (720p HD or 1080p FULL HD). Finally, there are small differences between the models in response and recovery times. Browning trail cameras are a good alternative to Bushnell trail cameras. They are a bit cheaper, not as fast as the newest 2015 Bushnell models, and at night the videos last up to 10 seconds at a time (while during the day the videos can be up to 2 minutes at a time) while Bushnell cameras can record videos of up to 1 minute during day and night. However, generally the quality of nighttime recordings (photo and video) is better for Browning camera traps than for Bushnell cameras.
