This eyepiece is a true insiders´ tip if it comes to planetary observation or double star observation at high magnification. The view is clearly more convenient than the one fo a Plössl eyepiece with a similar focal length. Even beginners will have no problems to overlook the field of view. However, the eyepiece uses only 3 elements. Correspondingly good are contrast and also image brightness.
We recommend the RK3.6 to all amateur astronomers who are searching for a simple, but powerful eyepiece for maximum magnification. The eyepiece can be used with all popular telescopes with 1.25” or 2” focuser.
RK eyepieces are a derivative of the classical Kellner. Compared to the Kellner, the sharpness in the field is improved. The view of RK eyepieces is also very comfortable, too.
